MEKP Catalyst Dispenser Measuring Bottle 16 oz

This 16 oz (500 mL) dispenser bottle measures MEKP into polyester resin and gelcoat without a separate cup. Squeeze it, the chamber fills to the dose you set, and you pour off anywhere from 5 to 25 mL in steps of 5 mL.

Setting the dose

Slide the chamber on its stem to set the dose. Polyester resin typically runs 1 to 2 percent MEKP and gelcoat about 2 percent, and the same bottle measures surfacing wax. Typical MEKP at 70°F (21°C), with 1 cc equal to 1 mL:

• 1 quart resin: 9 cc at 1%, 14 cc at 1.5%, 19 cc at 2%
• 1 gallon resin: 38 cc at 1%, 57 cc at 1.5%, 76 cc at 2%
