Perforated Release Film

Perforated release film is the layer that sits between your laminate and the breather in a vacuum bag. The holes on 1/2 in centers let excess resin bleed through at a controlled rate instead of all at once, and because the film itself does not bond to the resin, it peels off the cured part clean. Use it any time you are bagging a wet layup and want the resin-to-glass ratio pulled down without stripping the laminate dry.

• Vacuum bagging and infusion. Goes over the laminate, under the breather or bleeder ply.
• Controlled bleed. Perforations on 1/2 in centers meter how much resin moves into the breather.
• Clean release. Peels away without leaving film bonded into the surface.
• Cut sizes: 1 yard, 3 yards and 10 yards, plus a full roll for production bagging.

Lay it flat with no wrinkles under the bag. A crease telegraphs into the laminate surface and shows up as a resin ridge after cure.
