What size chopped strand mat do i need for my project?

Use 0.75oz mat for thin, lightweight layers, 1.5oz for general repairs, 2oz for thicker builds and high-strength structural reinforcement. Read more about choosing chopped strand mat size

Is there a volume discount?

Yes, there is volume discounts at many levels with full rolls having the lowest per yard price.

How much resin will I need?

Fiberglass mat typically requires about 1.5 to 2 times its weight in resin to fully saturate.

For example: 1 lb of mat will need approximately 1.5 to 2 lbs of resin.

Keep in mind, most resins weigh around 9.5 lbs per gallon.
