Non-skid additive is a polymer grit that stirs into gelcoat, paint or epoxy and gives decks, steps, swim platforms and cockpit soles a texture that holds a wet foot. You pick the grade for the traffic and set the dose for how much bite the finished surface has.

Fine, medium or coarse

Fine leaves a subtle grip that stays comfortable barefoot, which suits cockpit soles. Medium is the general deck grade. Coarse belongs on wet steps, swim platforms, ramps and work decks that see boots. Inside any grade, more grit per batch makes a sharper texture, while a light dose stays kinder to bare feet and easier to scrub clean.

Mixing and rolling

Stir it into the final coat and roll it on. The grit is a polymer, not sand, so it won't absorb resin or go dull in the coating. Keep stirring between roller loads so the texture comes out even from the first section of deck to the last.

Overview

This non-skid additive is a tough polymer grit you mix into gelcoat, paint or epoxy to put a safe, slip-resistant texture on decks, steps, swim platforms and cockpit soles. Stir it into your final coat, roll it on, and you get an even non-slip surface that holds up to bare feet, wet conditions and sun.

It comes in fine, medium and coarse so you can dial in the texture: fine for a subtle grip under bare feet, coarse for ramps and work decks that see boots. The grit stays suspended in the coating and will not wash out.
