Mixing Cup

Graduated disposable mixing cups with printed ounce, milliliter and ratio markings up the side. The ratio scales are the reason to use them: you read the line instead of doing arithmetic with a cheap cup and a Sharpie, which is where most bad batches start.

• Four sizes: pint, 1 quart, 2.5 quart and 5 quart, so you can match the cup to the batch instead of half-filling a bucket.
• Printed graduations in ounces, milliliters and mix ratios.
• Solvent resistant. Holds up to epoxy, polyester resin, gelcoat, paint and the solvents that go with them.
• Disposable. Cheaper to throw out than to scrape cured resin out of.

Use a cup close to your batch size. A quart of epoxy in a 5 quart cup has a lot of surface area and shallow depth, which changes how fast you read the mix, and a full cup of fast-hardener epoxy left sitting will exotherm on you.
