1708 Biaxial Fiberglass Tape

Same fabric as our 1708 biaxial, slit to tape widths so you are not cutting strips off a 50 in roll and fighting frayed edges. 17 oz/yd² of plus and minus 45 stitched glass over a chopped strand mat backer: the structural tab for stringers, bulkhead bonds, hull-to-deck seams and knee reinforcement.

• 17 oz plus or minus 45 stitched biaxial with a mat backer, same cloth as our 1708 yardage
• Runs in polyester, vinyl ester or epoxy
• Sold in 1, 3 and 10 yard cuts, plus 25 yard and 95 yard rolls depending on width
• Mat side down against the substrate for bond and wet-out

Stagger the widths when you tab a stringer: a narrow tape first, then a wider one over it, so the edges of the laminate step out instead of stacking a hard line.
