A tough polymer grit you mix into gelcoat, paint or epoxy to build a slip-resistant surface on decks, steps and swim platforms. Unlike sand, it does not soak up resin or go dull, and because you control the dose you control how aggressive the texture ends up.

  • Three grades. Fine for a light tooth on cockpit soles, medium for general deck traffic, coarse for wet steps and swim platforms where grip matters more than comfort.
  • Mix into gelcoat, paint, epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester. Stir in, keep it suspended while you apply, then topcoat to lock the grit in place.
  • Dose to taste. More grit gives more bite; a light dose keeps the surface easy on bare feet and easy to clean.
  • Sizes: 8 oz, pint, quart, gallon and 4 gallon pail in every grade.

Grit settles fast in a cup. Stir between passes or the last section of deck comes out smooth.

  • Polymer non-skid grit for gelcoat, paint or epoxy
  • Creates a safe, slip-resistant deck surface
  • Three textures: fine, medium and coarse
  • Stays suspended in the coating, will not wash out
  • Stands up to bare feet, water and UV
  • 8 oz shaker up to 4-gallon pail

Overview

This non-skid additive is a tough polymer grit you mix into gelcoat, paint or epoxy to put a safe, slip-resistant texture on decks, steps, swim platforms and cockpit soles. Stir it into your final coat, roll it on, and you get an even non-slip surface that holds up to bare feet, wet conditions and sun.

It comes in fine, medium and coarse so you can dial in the texture: fine for a subtle grip under bare feet, coarse for ramps and work decks that see boots. The grit stays suspended in the coating and will not wash out.

Pick your grit and size, from an 8 oz shaker up to a 4-gallon pail for big jobs.

It is a fine aggregate you mix into gelcoat, paint, or clear coatings to create a slip resistant, textured non-skid surface on decks, steps, swim platforms, and walkways.

Stir Evertex non-skid additive into gelcoat or paint before rolling it on, or broadcast it onto the wet coating and lock it down with a clear topcoat. Adjust the amount to control how aggressive the texture feels underfoot: more additive for high-traffic decks, less for a subtle grip.

Add Evertex to gelcoat, paint, epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester coatings. It is a fine polymer powder that blends into any of them without changing the color, so you get a durable, slip-resistant texture in your existing deck finish. Mix it in before you coat, or broadcast it onto the wet coat.

No. Evertex is designed to disappear into the coating and take on its color, so the finished non-skid surface keeps the color of your gelcoat or paint. It adds texture, not tint. If you want a contrasting non-skid, tint the coating itself and the additive will not fight the color you choose.

Start light and test on a sample first. More additive gives a coarser, more aggressive grip, while less gives a subtle texture.
