CE Smith Boat Trailer Bunk Board Carpet

Bunk carpet is not a nicety, it is what keeps the trailer from marking the hull every time the boat slides on and off. The reason to buy marine grade instead of stapling leftover household carpet to the bunk is simple: residential carpet is made for a dry room and rots out in a season of dunking.

• 100% PET polyester, marine grade
• 16.1 oz per square yard with a 5/32 in pile height
• Durable backing, weather resistant and fast drying
• Sizes: 11 in x 12 ft and 18 in x 18 ft
• Colors: black, blue and gray depending on size

Staple from the center out and keep the fasteners on the sides of the bunk, never on the top face. A staple crown standing proud on the bearing surface will score gelcoat the first time the hull loads onto it.
