5 Gallon Plastic Pail

A 5 gallon pail in chemical-resistant HDPE for holding resin, hardener, acetone and solvents in the shop when a jug is too small. It comes two ways: with a metal handle, or with a snap-on sealing lid.

Handle or lid

Take the handle version when the pail moves around: carrying acetone out to the boat for tool cleanup, or hauling material from storage to the layup table. Take the snap-on lid version when the pail sits, since the sealing lid closes it up between jobs and keeps dust and debris out of what is inside. Label every pail with its contents, and keep solvents away from heat and open flame.
