5.8oz Carbon/Kevlar® Hybrid Fabric 2×2 Dual Twill Weave (Black/Yellow) - 1st Quality

This is the dual twill version of our carbon Kevlar® hybrid, 5.8 oz per square yard on a 50 in roll. The dual twill pattern doubles the visual repeat, so the weave reads deeper and more dimensional than a standard 2x2 under clear coat. Underneath the look, it is the same tradeoff: carbon for stiffness, aramid for impact and abrasion.

• Where it goes: show-surface skins and panels where the weave pattern is the selling point.
• Build rate: 0.009 in per ply.
• Resin demand: roughly 50:50 resin to fiber by weight, about 0.67 oz per square foot.
• Resin: epoxy. Aramid is slow to wet out, so work resin in deliberately and inspect for dry fill yarns before it gels.
• Width: 50 in, cut from 1 yard up to a full roll.

Cut with aramid shears and plan your pattern so the twill repeat lands where you want it on the finished part.
