5.5oz Carbon/Kevlar® Hybrid Fabric 2×2 Twill Weave (Black/Red) - 1st Quality

Same hybrid construction as our black and blue twill, woven with red aramid: 5.5 oz/yd² of carbon and Kevlar® in a 2x2 twill, 50 in wide, first quality, about 0.009 in per ply. Carbon does the stiffness, aramid does the impact and abrasion, and the twill drapes over shape instead of tenting on it.

• 5.5 oz/yd² carbon and Kevlar aramid hybrid, 2x2 twill, 0/90
• 50 in wide, about 0.009 in thick per ply, first quality
• Black and red checkerboard pattern
• Plan about 0.64 oz of mixed resin per square foot at roughly 1:1 by weight
• Use epoxy for structural aramid work
• Cut to 1, 3 and 10 yards, or take the full roll (100 yards)

Cut with aramid shears and mark your cut lines with tape. Aramid frays the moment a dull blade touches it.
