Carbon and blue aramid in a 2x2 twill at 5.5 oz/yd², 50 in wide, first quality. The twill drapes over curves that a plain weave would bridge, and the hybrid construction gives you carbon stiffness with the impact and abrasion resistance aramid is known for. The black and blue checkerboard is the point on a show surface.
