Warp unidirectional fiberglass tape puts 75% of its E-glass in the warp (0 degree) direction and 25% in the fill (90 degree), so nearly all of the strength runs the length of the tape. Reach for it where you need stiffness and tensile strength in one direction: stringers, spars, hull-to-deck joints, gunwales, transom edges, paddleboard and surfboard rails, and any longitudinal reinforcement that has to resist bending.
This is a 12 oz per square yard woven tape, 0.018 inch thick, with clean woven edges that will not unravel as you cut and lay it. It wets out readily with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin.
