Stoner E236 Urethane Mold Release

Stoner E236 is an aerosol mold release formulated for urethane parts and castings. Urethane sticks to tooling in a way polyester and epoxy layups do not, so it gets a release made for the job.

Where it earns its place

Spray it on tools for injection molding, compression molding, RIM, vacuum forming and pour casting. One application covers several part releases, which matters once you are running parts in a batch rather than a single prototype, and it flashes off fast, so the mold is ready again with little wait. There is nothing to mix and nothing to wipe.

Keep the coat light and even. A wet coat collects in corners and can mark the face of the part.
