Sierra 18-5176 Johnson/Evinrude Ignition Coil

A replacement ignition coil built to OEM specification for Johnson and Evinrude outboards. Coils fail slowly: you get a hard start, then a miss at high RPM, then a cylinder that drops out under load. Swapping one is usually cheaper than chasing the symptom through the rest of the ignition.

• Fits a wide span of Johnson and Evinrude models from 4 HP through 100 HP, roughly 1977 through 1984, plus 9.9/15 HP four strokes 1994 to 1999

Check your model year and horsepower against the application list before ordering, and replace coils in matched condition rather than mixing one new coil into a set of tired ones.
