Sierra 18-3016-1 MerCruiser Impeller Kit

An impeller kit rather than a bare impeller, which is the right way to do this job: the gasket and O-ring in the kit are what actually restore the seal against the wear plate, and reusing a compressed gasket is the most common reason a freshly rebuilt pump still will not pull water.

• Kit contents: impeller, gasket and O-ring.
• Fits MCM 4.5L MPI, and 2000 and newer MCM V-6 and V-8 (305, 350 and 496) engines with the brass sea water pump. Covers late-model Bravo and High Performance applications.
• Use with Sierra 18-3160-1 sea water pump.
• Interchanges with MerCruiser 47-862232A2, Quicksilver 47-8M0104229, Mallory 9-45310 and 9-45310-10.

Confirm you have the brass sea water pump before ordering. The plastic-housing pumps take a different impeller, and the two are easy to confuse from a parts diagram alone. Check the housing on the engine, not the catalog.
