Sierra 18-2772-1 Volvo SX Transom Seal Kit

The transom service kit for Volvo SX and OMC SX Cobra sterndrives with the cone clutch. Bellows are a scheduled item, not a repair item: the rubber cracks from ozone and UV long before it looks bad from outside, and a split U-joint bellows fills the boat. Doing the exhaust bellows, the U-joint bellows and the gimbal bearing together is the only sensible way to open a transom assembly.

• 18-1074 exhaust bellows, qty 1.
• 18-2765 U-joint bellows, qty 1.
• 18-2100 heavy duty gimbal bearing, qty 1.
• 18-7153-9 O-ring package, 5 pieces.
• Two hose clamps: 18-710-64-2 (3-9/16 to 4-1/2 in) and 18-710-48-2 (2-9/16 to 3-1/2 in).

Note what is not in the kit: there is no shift cable bellows. If yours is cracked, order it separately before you pull the drive, because finding out mid-job is how a weekend turns into two.
