An aluminum magnesium alloy anchor that holds like steel at roughly half the weight. That matters twice: once when you are hauling it over the bow roller, and again when you are stowing it, because the Guardian comes apart into flat pieces instead of eating a locker. Same alloy and manufacturing as the top Fortress line, with smaller extrusion profiles.
- Nine sizes from 2.5 lb through 65 lb, each matched to a boat length range from 12 ft up to 72 ft.
- Rustproof. Aluminum magnesium alloy, so it does not bleed rust down your topsides or seize in the locker.
- Disassembles for flat storage, which is the real advantage on a pontoon or a small center console.
- Mud palms to help the flukes rotate down and set rather than skate.
- Made in the USA with a one year manufacturer parts replacement warranty.
Size to the boat, not to what fits the locker. Fortress voids the warranty on an anchor used to moor a vessel larger than the size they recommend for it.
