Aqua Buff 2000 - Buffing & Polishing Compound

Water-based cutting and polishing compound for gelcoat, cured polyester and cured epoxy. It cuts oxidation, sanding scratches and light chalk, then finishes bright without the solvent smell and sling that comes with old-school body compounds. This is the compound for a hull side you just wet sanded, and for pulling a fresh part or a repaired patch back up to the gloss of the panel next to it.

• Water-based formula, no solvent sling off the pad
• Cuts and finishes on gelcoat, fiberglass and cured resin surfaces
• Follows a wet sand progression, typically after 1000 to 3000 grit
• Sizes from a 4 oz trial jar up to a gallon jug
• Works with a wool or foam pad on a variable speed rotary or DA

Keep the surface damp while you buff and do not let the compound dry on the panel. Wipe the residue off with clean water before you look at your work.
