3" Blade Shears for Kevlar® and Aramid

These shears cut Kevlar® aramid, the fabric that slides off a smooth blade and frays instead of parting. Each 3 in blade is serrated, so the edge grabs the yarn and holds it while the blades close, and aramid, Spectra and fiberglass come apart clean on pattern and detail cuts.

Where they earn their place

Keep them for trimming aramid or carbon and aramid plies to a pattern, notching cloth around hardware, and squaring up the edge of a precut kit. The short blade steers through tight curves, and the light build keeps a long cut list from wearing out your hand. Use them on dry fabric only so the serrations keep their bite; resin left in the teeth kills the grip.
