Sierra 18-8816-1 Johnson/Evinrude 6" Spark Plug Wire

A single 6 in replacement plug wire for Johnson and Evinrude outboards. Wires fail from the outside in on an outboard: the boot cracks, salt gets into the terminal, and the cylinder starts dropping under load long before anything is visibly wrong. Replacing one wire is a five minute job and it is worth doing before chasing an ignition fault further.

• Length: 6 in, sold individually so you replace only what you need.
• Kevlar core for durability, with a stainless steel conductor.
• Silicone jacketing and boots for high temperature protection under the cowl.
• RFI suppression, which keeps ignition noise out of a fish finder or chartplotter.
• Corrosion-resistant terminals. Interchanges with Johnson/Evinrude 582365 and OMC 582365.

Pull the boot, not the cable. Yanking on the wire separates the conductor from the terminal inside the boot, and the resulting intermittent miss is far harder to find than a dead cylinder.
