Sea Dog Polarized Connector 2 -Wire

A polarized two-pin plug and socket so a circuit can only go back together one way. That is the point: on a boat, a connector that will mate backwards eventually will, and reverse polarity on a pump or a light is how a cheap part becomes an expensive afternoon.

Pack the mated halves with dielectric grease before you close them up. It will not stop water getting near the joint, but it keeps salt out of the contact faces where corrosion actually starts.
