Perforated Release Film

Perforated release film is the bagging layer you lay directly on a wet laminate so excess resin can bleed out into the breather while the film still peels off the cured part. Perforations on 1/2 in centers meter that bleed, so you pull the resin content down without starving the laminate.

Where it sits in the bag

Working up from the part: laminate, release film, breather or bleeder, then the bag. Smooth it flat before you pull vacuum, since any fold or wrinkle presses into the surface of the cured laminate.
