Partall #2 Paste Wax – Mold Release Wax for Fiberglass & Composite Molds

Partall #2 is the paste wax that goes on every mold before anything else. Buffed out to a hard shine, it lets hand layup and vacuum bagged parts come off a seasoned mold with no other release under them, and because it builds in coats you can touch up one worn spot instead of redoing the whole surface.

When wax alone is enough

On a mold that has already pulled parts and holds a deep shine, the wax does the job by itself. On a brand new mold, a fresh plug or a one-off, put PVA #10 mold release over the wax as a second barrier until the surface is seasoned. You can read the condition of the wax by its shine.

What it is

• Hydrocarbon and microcrystalline paste wax for fiberglass and carbon fiber molds
• For hand layup and vacuum bagging
• 12 oz tub or 7 lb tub, single or by the case of 12 or 4
• Store at 90°F (32°C) or below, away from heat and open flame
