Three ways to buy
Every size is sold as a single brush, as a full manufacturer's box, or as a master case of 24 boxes. The per-brush price is shown as the unit price on each option, so you can see exactly what each step down saves you.
- Single — one brush
- Case — one manufacturer's box: 36 brushes in 1/2", 1" and 1 1/2"; 24 in 2"; 12 in 2 1/2", 3" and 4"
- Master case — 24 boxes, so 864 brushes in the small sizes, 576 in 2", 288 in the large sizes
A case runs roughly half the per-brush price of singles, and a master case roughly half again. The 2" works out at $1.99 a brush as a single, $0.79 in a case, and $0.61 in a master case.

What kind of brush works with polyester resin and epoxy?
Disposable natural-bristle chip brushes are the shop standard for resin and gelcoat. They are cheap enough to throw away after a batch, and the bristles hold up to the styrene in polyester. Foam brushes work for thin coats and small touch-ups but can break down in solvent-heavy resin. Buy chip brushes in bulk, since resin ruins them and they are not worth cleaning.
