Clear epoxy for tops and pours

Table top epoxy is a different animal from laminating resin. It is built to flow out level, release air and cure clear, which is what a bar top needs and what you do not want soaking into a layer of glass. Kleer Kote comes in 2 quart, 1 gallon and 2 gallon kits.

Work warm and work clean. Cold resin holds bubbles that a torch pass will not fully chase out, and dust settles into a wet surface from the moment you pour. A flood coat wants a dam or a taped edge so it does not run off the sides. Deep pours behave differently from a thin flood coat, so read the kit's pour depth guidance first.
