Ohm range and tank depth must match
Moeller and VDO fuel level senders plus the gauges that read them. Moeller electric sending units adjustable from 4 to 28 inches, reed switch units in 6, 9 and 11 inch, a diesel unit with return, VDO reed switch senders in 180, 200, 230, 270 and 300 mm, VDO ALAS adjustable senders and VDO 80 and 150 PSI pressure senders.
Two things have to line up or the needle lies. Sender resistance has to match the gauge, and most of this shelf is 240 to 33 ohm, with the ALAS I at 3 to 180 ohm. Then sender length has to match tank depth from the top flange down. The 5 hole gasket is a separate part.
