Access plates and deck stainless

Two things share this page: round access plates that reach a bilge or rope locker, and the small stainless bolted to the deck. Beckson runs the plate side with 4, 5 and 6 inch screw-out and twist-out plates in smooth and diamond texture. Sea-Dog, Perko and Whitecap cover bow and stern eyes, pad eyes, deck pipes and rub strake.

Deck plate sizes name the opening, not the outside diameter, so a 6 inch plate needs a hole bigger than 6 inches and the flange covers the difference. On U bolt bow and transom eyes, thread size (3/8 or 1/2 inch) has to match the backing plate, and anything through bolted into a cored deck wants the core sealed first.
