Bimini Tops
Width, height, then length
A bimini is specified by three numbers: width, height, length. Width is measured between the mounting points on the gunwale, not the beam, and it is the number people get wrong. Height is clearance from the mount to the top of the bow. Length is fore and aft coverage, 4, 5, 6 or 8 ft here.
Fabric is the second decision. Sunbrella is solution dyed acrylic and holds color under UV better than coated polyester. Sharkskin Plus is the coated polyester option and sheds water well for less. Replacement fabric is sold on its own (Taylor Made Hot Shot, Attwood) when the frame is still good, and a storage boot is a separate part sized to folded width.
