Moeller Engine Paint - Honda

A color-matched acrylic lacquer aerosol in Honda silver metallic, for touching up or refinishing a powerhead, cowling, lower unit or sterndrive. It is formulated heat and solvent resistant, which is the part that matters on an engine: ordinary rattle-can paint softens under gasoline and lifts around a spilled fuel fill.

• Color matched to the engine's original Honda silver metallic.
• Oil and gasoline resistant once cured.
• Use on outboards, inboards, sterndrives and lower units.
• Quick dry formula, 12 oz net weight.
• Application: surface clean, dry and free of dirt, grease and rust. Can between 50 and 90 F. Shake for about a minute and periodically while spraying. Spray in steady even strokes at 8 to 12 in.

Several light coats beat one heavy coat every time. A heavy pass on a vertical cowl will run, and metallic paint shows a run and a repair far more than a solid color does.
