Duratec Gray Surfacing Primer is a premium polyester primer known for its superior filling and leveling capabilities. It provides excellent adhesion to a wide range of materials including fiberglass, metal, wood, pressboard, brick, concrete, and various foams. Engineered for quick build-up, this primer sands smoothly and can be polished to a high gloss, making it ideal for creating plugs or mold coatings. Shelf Life 3 months

  • Application Method: Spray (1.8–2.5mm nozzle recommended)
  • Pot Life: Approx. 15–20 minutes at 77°F (25°C)
  • Dry Time: 1–2 hours (depending on temperature and film thickness)
  • Maximum Build: Up to 20 mils per application
  • Sanding Grit Range: P180–P400 recommended
  • Coverage: ~65–80 sq ft per gallon @ 10 mils thickness
