Style 7781 is the 8-harness satin E-glass that tooling shops and aircraft builders order by number. Each yarn floats over seven and under one, so the cloth lies flatter than a plain weave and drapes into compound curves without bridging. 8.9 oz/yd² (302 g/m²), 57 × 54 construction, 0.009" (0.23 mm) thick, 50" wide.

Use it where you want strength and a clean surface out of the same ply: mold and plug skins, tooling laminates, fairings, and the finish ply on boat and aircraft parts. The flat weave wets out clear and cuts down on print-through under gelcoat and paint. Works with epoxy, polyester or vinyl ester.

Two things before you cut. Satin distorts more than plain weave once it is off the roll, so move cut pieces flat and don't drag them across the table.
