Style 120 E-glass in a 4-harness satin weave, 3.16 oz per square yard, 38 in wide. This is the lightest cloth we stock and it is a finishing fabric, not a structural one. The satin weave drapes into curves that a plain weave fights, and at 0.0046 in per ply it disappears under epoxy instead of printing through your finish.

Where it goes: surface reinforcement, sheathing wood, skinning a part, final layer over a repair, mold making.
Wets out clear. Over light wood under epoxy it goes nearly invisible with two or three fill coats.
Drape: 4-harness satin conforms over compound curves better than plain weave at the same weight.
Resin ratio: roughly 1:1 resin to glass by weight.
Resin compatibility: epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester.

Handle it carefully when dry. A satin weave shifts if you drag it, and a distorted weave shows in a clear-coated finish.
