Customer Data Deletion
If you have created a customer account on boatsuppliers.com, including accounts created by signing in with Facebook or Google, you can request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
Email hello@boatsuppliers.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
Please include in your message:
- The email address on your account
- Your full name as it appears on the account
- Confirmation that you want all personal data deleted
Our process
- We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
- We will delete your customer account and all associated personal data within 30 days.
- We will send a final confirmation email when deletion is complete.
What we delete
- Your customer account and login credentials
- Saved shipping and billing addresses
- Marketing email subscriptions
- Saved payment methods
- Social login connections (Facebook, Google)
What we retain
Order records and invoices are retained for tax and accounting compliance, typically for 7 years, as required by federal and state law. After your account is deleted, these records are anonymized so they are no longer linked to your personal identity.
