Fiberglass Repair Plastic Spreaders

Three flexible spreaders for putty and filler work. Flex is what you are buying: a stiff blade skips over a low spot and leaves a ridge, while a flexible spreader loads into the curve of a hull side and pulls filler flat across it. Cheap enough to throw away when the batch gels on you.

Clean them before the resin gels or do not bother. Once filler kicks on a spreader the edge is gone, and a nicked edge drags lines into every pass after it. Keep several in the kit so there is always a clean edge for the finish pass after the heavy fill is down and knocked back.
