Peel ply leaves a bondable surface

Peel ply is the one consumable that changes what you can do next. Laid over a wet laminate and pulled after cure, it takes the amine blush and the surface resin with it and leaves a textured, bondable face, so the next ply or a fairing coat goes on without a sanding pass first.

It doubles as a fairing aid. Peel ply over a fillet or a tape edge pulls the weave flat and feathers the edge, which saves grinding later. Sold 60 inch wide, cut to 1, 3 and 10 yards. Pull it while the part is still warm if you can, because on a fully cooled thick laminate it fights you at the edges.
