TACO 1" x 1/2" White Flexible Vinyl Rub Rail Insert

The soft insert that snaps into a rigid or aluminum rub rail and does the actual work of absorbing a dock hit. The rail holds the shape, the vinyl takes the impact, and when it gets chewed up after a few seasons you replace a strip of vinyl instead of the whole rail.

Let it relax in the sun before you install it. Cold vinyl fights the track and springs back out of the corners, while warm vinyl seats and stays put. Start the insert at the transom corner and work forward so any trim ends up where a stern cap or an end fitting will cover it.
