Standard White Mold Release Wedges (RIGID)

Stiff HDPE wedges for breaking a cured part loose from its mold. The point of a plastic wedge is that it will not gouge gelcoat the way a screwdriver or a putty knife will, and the rigid version gives you real leverage where a flexible wedge just bends and does nothing.

• Best for seasoned molds and traditional fiberglass layups, where the tool surface is hard and the part is genuinely stuck.
• Four sizes: 4 x 1-1/4 in, 6 x 2-1/4 in, 10 x 1-3/4 in and 10 x 3-1/8 in. Start narrow to get a bite, then move up to a wide wedge to spread the load.
• High density polyethylene. Softer than gelcoat, hard enough to push.
• Reusable. Trim a chewed tip square with a knife and keep going.

Work the flange all the way around before you drive anything deep. Forcing one corner is how flanges crack and molds get retired early.
