Marine Tex Epoxy Putty Repair Kit White

Marine-Tex white is a structural epoxy putty for rebuilding gouged or damaged fiberglass, aluminum, wood and metal, and for setting loose or stripped fasteners so they bite again. White is the choice on fiberglass and other light surfaces, where you want the repair to blend in.

Which kit size

Every kit holds epoxy resin, hardener and a mixing stick, so the only decision is quantity. The 2 oz kit (RM305K) is the one to keep aboard for a few fastener holes or a chip. The 14 oz (RM306K) and the quart (RM307K) are for larger rebuilds or a shop working through several repairs.

On metal, and on prep

It joins dissimilar metals and does not set off galvanic corrosion where they meet. Whatever the substrate, sand or grind down to clean, sound material and wipe it with solvent before you mix; the putty holds only as well as the surface under it.
