Fiberglass Mold Making Kits
Rigid tooling kits for pulling a fiberglass mold off a plug or an existing part. Tooling gelcoat for the mold face, isophthalic tooling resin for the backup laminate, both release agents, the glass and the wedges that get the mold off.
This is the polyester tooling side of mold making. If you are after a flexible rubber mold to cast resin, plaster or food in, that is silicone and urethane work and a different chemistry entirely.
Which rung: Small covers a mold face up to about 2 square feet, Standard about 5, Pro about 10. Size on the resin, not the gelcoat, because the backup laminate is what runs out first.
