Standard Pink Mold Release Wedges (FLEXIBLE)

Softer, more forgiving wedges for getting a part to break free. The flex is the point: a rigid wedge concentrates load on one spot and will mark a new mold or a thin flange, while a flexible wedge spreads the push and follows the parting line instead of digging into it.

• Flexible pink plastic, softer than standard rigid wedges
• 4 in x 1-1/4 in, 6 in x 2-1/4 in, 10 in x 1-3/4 in and 10 in x 3-1/8 in
• For new molds, thin flanges and delicate tooling
• Work them in around the flange, not at one point

Start at a corner with the narrow wedge and walk progressively larger ones around the perimeter, letting air do the work. Prying hard in one spot is how flanges crack.
