Clean and dry the mounting surface with solvent before you stick it down. Adhesive on a waxed gelcoat surface will hold right up until the first loaded line pulls on it. Mount them in pairs a few feet apart on a long line run so the coil hangs flat against the surface instead of sagging into a loop.
