4.5" Blade Heavy Duty KEVLAR® Shears

Aramid does not cut, it fuzzes, which is why a pair of ordinary scissors turns a Kevlar edge into a fringe. These shears use heavy serrated blades that grip the fiber and slice it cleanly instead of letting it slip ahead of the edge. Short 4.5 in blades give you the leverage and control you need for a dense aramid weave.

Cut aramid slightly oversize and keep it that way. A ragged aramid edge cannot be sanded fair after cure the way glass can, so any cleanup has to happen with the shears before resin goes on.
