12" Serrated Fiberglass & Carbon Scissors

Dry carbon and glass cloth slides ahead of a smooth blade instead of cutting, which is how you end up with a wandering line and a frayed edge. These are serrated shears: the teeth grip the fabric and hold it while the blade goes through. Drop-forged steel, 5.5 in blade in a 12 in shear, and they can be resharpened rather than thrown away.

• Cuts dry fabric: fiberglass cloth, mat, woven roving and carbon.
• Serrated edge grips the weave so the cut line stays where you put it.
• Drop-forged steel blades for a long service edge under abrasive fabric.
• Resharpenable, so a dulled pair goes back into service.
• 12 in overall with a 5.5 in blade, which is enough length to cut yardage in one stroke.

Keep a dedicated pair for dry fabric and never put them in resin. Cured resin on a serrated edge is very hard to clean off and the teeth stop gripping.
