The label on the fill matters

A deck fill is labeled for what goes into it, and that label is the point. Gas, diesel, water and waste fills are separate parts, with Whitecap running stainless versions of all four, and mixing them up is how water ends up in a fuel tank at a busy dock. Angled, straight, push up and flip top styles come down to space under the deck.

Replacement caps are sized by thread, not by the hole you can see. The common one is 1.5 inch by 12 NPSM, which the Sea-Dog stainless cap uses, so confirm the thread before ordering. Keyed and locking fills need the matching deck plate key, and Sea-Dog sells a multi function and an adjustable bronze key.
