Boat Navigation Lights

Rating first, then the mount

Navigation lights are a legal fit, so the visibility rating on the box matters as much as the mount. Hella lists each lamp by range, 2nm on sidelights and sterns, 3nm on the masthead, and by housing color. Attwood covers the bolt on and clamp on end with 12 and 14 inch bi-color bow lights and folding anti glare sterns. Perko covers fold down and telescoping.

Match the rating to boat length before you match the look, because the range required goes up with boat size and a 2nm masthead will not substitute for a 3nm on a larger hull. Deck mount and pole mount are different parts even inside one series, and a telescoping stern light needs its base.
