Interlux Trilux Boat Prop & Drive Antifouling Paint

Props and outdrives sit underwater all season, and a fouled prop costs you speed and fuel before it costs you anything else. Trilux is an aerosol antifouling formulated specifically for running gear and underwater metals, which is the part that matters: most bottom paints are copper based and will eat an aluminum outdrive.

• Safe for all outdrives and underwater metals. Usable in fresh, salt and brackish water.
• Biolux technology to reduce slime and support antifouling performance.
• Coverage: about 21.2 square feet per 12 fl oz can at a 2 mil dry film. Plan on a full can per lower unit.
• Coats: 1 to 2 as needed. Matte finish.
• Application temperature: 50 F minimum, 95 F maximum.
• Three colors: white, gray and black, aerosol only.

Clean and abrade the gear before you spray. Antifouling over a slick, oxidized aluminum drive will sheet off in the first month.
