The Key's shape is derived from the Phase 5 Matrix and is designed to allow riders to ride a board generally smaller than what they would normally surf. With nub ends, the Key delivers a lot of release on the wave and it carries a lot of speed through the transition. The Phase 5 Key sports a thinner more poppy core and a single to double concave bottom with a V-Spline tail.
